Thursday, March 16 at 6.00 p.m. Bookmarc (Tokyo) will host the book signing of Speak Easy, the new photographic book by Sarai Mari published by Damiani.
On Monday, March 13 and Tuesday, March 14, MAMbo - Museo d'Arte Moderna di Bologna will host the international symposium Frameless / Senza Cornice.
Tuesday, February 28, at 7.00 p.m. French artist Valérie Belin will discuss the evolution of her work with Quentin Bajac, Chief Curator of Photography at MoMa and author of Detaching from Photography, also on Belin’s work. Using Belin’s work and artistic trajectory as a point of departure, Belin and Bajac will discuss the experience of photography, the photographic image, and the nature of photography itself.
At 6.30 p.m. on Friday, 17 February, 2017, Spazio Damiani will be inaugurating the Fink on Warhol: New York Photographs of the 1960s exhibition by American photographer Larry Fink. Until 30 April, fifteen black and white photographs illustrating the dialogue between the social and political fervour of New York of the ’60s and the artistic and nihilistic figure of Andy Warhol and exponents of the Factory will be on display.
