PHILIPPE PARRENO @ FONDATION BEYELER

From June 10th to September 30th, the Fondation Beyeler will host the exhibition of two new works by French artist Philippe Parreno. A choreography of sound and images guides the visitor throughout the space presenting the short film C.H.Z. ("Continuously Habitable Zones") e Marilyn.

The project CHZ, began from the construction of a black garden in Rua do Tarrio, Famalicão, in Portugal has been the basis for the volume published by Damiani also called C.H.Z.. The book collects the series of ink drawings of the garden, some frames from the film, a narrative by the artist and an essay written by Nancy Spector, deputy director and Chief Curator of the Guggenheim Museum.

Friday, June 15th, from 6.00 to 7.00 pm, Hans Ulrich Obrist will talk with Philippe Parreno about his art and the current exhibition at the Fondation Beyeler.
