Fotografie Forum Frankfurt presents In Your Eyes - Portraits in the presence of Marina Abramovic, a wide selection of 1545 photographs taken by Marco Anelli during Marina Abramovic's performance Marina Abramovic: The artist is present at the MoMA in New York.
From March 6th to May 31st 2010 Marina Abramovic sat for 75 days, six days a week, in the museum atrium, inviting more than a thousand visitors to take a seat across from her for as long as they chose. During the performance Marco Anelli has made powerful shots of participants posting each day the images on Flikr profile of MoMA.
The volume Portraits in the Presence of Marina Abramovic published by Damiani collects the entire corpus of images taken by Marco Anelli and will be soon available for Damiani’s new titles Fall 2012.
