Wednesday, May 22 at 7 pm at the SVA Theater - School of Visual Art in New York will take place the premiere of Wrinkles of the City. Havana, Cuba, the video-documentary by the artists JR and José Parà. The video documents their artistic project in which they have mixed painting - Parlà - with calligraphic signs - JR - to create a witness of the Cuban experience from the point of its older residents.

Sunday, May 19 from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm, the artist Gary Simmons will meet at LACMA in Los Angeles Franklin Sirmans, Curator and Department Head of Contemporary Art. From May 7 to July 12 the New York based Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery hosts The Wrinkles of the City, Havana, Cuba, the exhibition by the French photographer JR and the American artist José Parlá.

Saturday, April 27, from 3.00 pm at booth C4 Paris Photo of Los Angeles, Tom Bianchi, American photographer and writer, will present and sign copies of Fire Island Pines, an amazing collection of polaroids taken in the 70's documenting his friends’ lives in the Pines, amassing an image archive of people, parties and private moments.

Friday, April 26, from 4.30 pm. at booth C4 Paris Photo of Los Angeles, the American photographer Gusmano Cesaretti will present and sign copies of Gusman Cesaretti. Fragments of Los Angeles, 1969-1989, his new monographic book that presents a tribute to the sub-culture of the East Side of Los Angeles.

Tuesday, April 23 the New York based Milk Gallery will present a selection of photographs taken from Natural Beauty, the new volume by James Houston published by Damiani. From 7 pm to 10 pm the author will sign copies of the book. The exhibition will run until May 5.
